Hello tennis enthusiasts, I am Sanad Rashed, and I have close to 20 years of experience in playing tennis. I was a highly-ranked member of the Libyan National First Team, during which time I competed in many big tennis events (including the 2001 Davis Cup). During my Master’s studies at the University of Sheffield (2010 in the UK), I joined the men’s tennis squad. During my post-graduate studies at UCLA, I was part of the competitive club tennis team. I have competed in professional tournaments in North Africa, Europe, and the U.S., and have won several USTA tournaments in Men’s singles titles. Currently, competing in the Men's open, and 35 & over. Ranked nationally #3 in Men's 35 Singles.
It is an honor to be sponsored by, and a part of the Solincoteam program. I am also on the Head Penn professional advisory team.
I have 10 years of experience in tennis coaching, and am certified by both the International Tennis Federation (ITF - level 1), and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), as a Junior Development and High-Performance specialist. I am also a certified instructor for Cardio Tennis & TRX tennis fitness. I am CPR certified.
I am pleased to announce that as of December 2018, I am certified by the PTR as a Master of Tennis, for junior development. I am very excited for this advancement as a tennis coach, and look forward to applying the knowledge and skills that I have gained, toward my coaching. The Master of Tennis program received accreditation from the National Council on Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE), it is one of the most prestigious programs in tennis coaching and fitness that a tennis coach can obtain; as of December 2018, only 29 other graduates (worldwide), have earned this distinguished title

I encourage a fun and positive atmosphere, where I help players achieve their short and long term goals by developing their technical skills, physical fitness, and game strategy. I work with all ages and skill levels (from beginners to advanced, and professional), with both singles and doubles players.
Continued Education in sports, and particularly tennis, is very important for me. I had the honor of being the first Libyan-American professional tennis coach at the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) - International Tennis Symposium. I had the honor to be selected with the top tennis clinicians and experts in the US and present on court presentations in two big tennis conferences in Southern California (USTA, and City of Irvine Tennis).
My passion for tennis helps to ensure that I always stay up to date in the field of sport science, and continuously train with world class clinicians and leaders, from both the PTR and the International Tennis Performance Association (iTPA), I have finished hundreds of hours in continuing education in tennis and fitness with PTR, ITF, iTPA, USTA, WTCA and USPTA. In addition, I attend annual tennis seminars, in Southern California.
